Beach bars in Pefkochori: 18 km away from Kallithea with direction to Paliouri village you will find Pefkochori. A touristic village by the sea, full of taverns, cafes, bars and beach bars. On weekends during high season this place is crowded so you should try to visit early in the morning or at afternoon. You will definitely need to book sunbeds in advance. Here we go…
Glarokavos is a very nice beach bar under the trees with AMAZING crystal clear waters, a MUST visit! One of the most beautiful and well organized beach bars in Halkidiki. They also have a separate place with a Canteen where they make delicious burgers, souvlaki, hot dogs and more… Enjoy your meal under the trees!

Further from Pefkochori and closer to Paliouri Village there are 4-5 beach bars one close to each other, in a great location with amazing shallow tirquaz water. Those beach bars are more crowded / cosmopolitan, so you should try to be there before 11:00 to find free sunbeds. Be aware that the charge for sunbeds and drinks may vary and probably be higher in this area. From all the above we prefer Navagos beach bar.

Places you shouldn’t miss
Sani Resorts / Sani Marina: Our favorite district to walk, eat, swim in Halkidiki. The big Sani Marina is an elegant and luxurious area that reminds Marina of Monaco. 10 minutes driving from OpenSky apartments you can find a small paradise! A unique elegant place to walk and take photos next to big luxury yachts and hotels. From marina you can walk to the Sani beach hotel where you can have a drink next to the pool or go for swimming in Anemos beach bar. Sani area is famous for the sea as well. You will be amazed of the colour of the water there. Sani has been awarded with blue flag for more than 20 years in a row. A hint from Opensky: Follow directions to Sani beach club. Kallithea is famous for night life and clubbing. There are several bars and night clubs all located across the main road to Pefkochori. Clubs open after midnight and usually they have entrance fee aprox 15 euro/person (drink is included). Most of the clubs in Greece play mixed house and Greek modern pop/hip hop music. For long distance travelers
Nikiti is one of the largest and more crowded villages in Halkidiki. Aprox 60 km away from OpenSky, in second leg of Halkidiki you can find Nikiti village with the famous sunsets. Great place to sit on one of the traditional sea food taverns and enjoy the magnificent sunset.

Neos Marmaras village is situated 20 km after Nikiti. 1 hour driving from OpenSky you can find the cosmopolitan village of New Marmaras. Plenty of greek taverns, bars and cafes and a great place to walk next to the sea. Ideal place for families to spend all day there. 2km away you can find Porto Karras complex a luxury complex of hotels, beach bars and the famous casino of Porto Karras. Also make sure that you stop on your way back from Marmaras to some magical places to swim and enjoy the Aegean view such as Akti Koviou, Akti Kalogria and Spathies beach (5-10 km from Nikiti)

Vourvourou district is situated in second leg of Halkidiki, 1 hour driving from OpenSky. A wide area with unique seashore great place to take magic photos. Ormos Panagias is a small traditional fish village where you can sit to eat on the beach! From Ormos Panagias you can also arrange a daily boat trip to Athos mountain and monasteries with guides. There are daily cruises around Athos mountain, but you have to book a ticket in advance.
